Poppies

Over the last few years poppies have started to take hold in my gardens. The front especially but they are slowly moving around the side passage and into the back.

The mass of daffodils have now faded and the poppies have replaced the wave of yellow. I'm happy for them to spring up wherever they care to seed.

In the main front flowerbed the large red poppies are starting to grow and self seed but will be a while before they flower. Another orange one has started to flower amongst the spreading arms of the Dicentra Bleeding Heart. 

It's so nice to see the plants coming to life again.
