Our Royal Zoological Society membership runs out at the end of May and we have decided not to renew it. Our aged bones don't cope too well with the steep paths in Edinburgh Zoo and it's a two and a half hour drive to the Wildlife Park which is also affiliated to the RZSS. We might well visit again but we will have to pay!
It was a beautiful day for the drive up to Kingussie but we just had to stop en route for a coffee and freshly baked scone in the wonderful Post Office cafe in Birnham.
The weather was so warm and sunny that we enjoyed an ice cream just before we started for home.
