A special Blipday landing on Art Class day :-)

This is the last session at this time. So grateful for the opportunity and hope it helps me get more creative over the summertime & reduce my anxiety for making art and help my photography too.

Walk up to the Wee Woodland to do a selfie at my favourite tree this morning. A silver birch which I sometimes go and talk to if feeling a bit down and Jim (brother) has been on my mind alot and miss him lots more. Soon will have to be careful, seasonal, round it so don't catch the weeds with beasties or jaggies. The cow's parsley was sneezy today.

Faffing with the old computer to print photo & lettering to cut out. I know it would have been much quicker to do this Blip in one of the modern Apps on the tablet or phone but it's Art Class Day!

Continued in Art Class with experimenting with the jelly type material for printing. Did a few prints before cutting out me and tree. Following theme of what I had been trying at home with part photo part colour backgrounds.

It's a different type of printing than what I used to do a long time ago and different yet similar to graphics, but very tempting to try it more in my own time. Great for backgrounds for cards or some new photo mixedmedia. Who knows!

Tried some lettering / numbers too as you can see, discussing reversals and spellings! Printed on coloured card. And added photo, it will stick to the wet ink.

I have left it uncut as it was still wet when photographed but put extras of a trimmed one using computer and original pic too.

A different bright wig for today.

Edit: forgot to mention also had Reiki today to help relax and hopefully get a good sleep tonight :-)

Would just like to thank you all for the support over the years, especially more recently with my challenging times and sharing your varying Blipfoto journeys along the way. Can't believe I've managed 10 years! But here we are and will continue as long as I am able to.

Today was meant to be!

It has given me hope!
