White flowers

This morning we retraced our steps and walked first to the ferry, then the train station where we took the Eurostar to Paris, a Metro* across Paris, a TGV to Rennes and then a TER to Saint-Malo. I like trains and managed to finish my Terry Pratchett on the way - Rasing Steam.

After dropping our stuff off I went to my mother-in-law's to pick the doggy up for his walk - and today's blip are some flowers we walked past on his walk. The dog remembered who I was and was happy to have his walk!

* We did have fun at Gare du Nord. We had two old paper Metro Tickets left and one of them work but not the second, so we were stuck with one of us on one side of the barrier and the other on the other. The ticket machines don't issue paper tickets so your forced to buy a NavigoHard card - except the machines don't all work and all the tourist struggle to use them. Or you can buy a ticket with your phone - except my wife doesn't have a smart phone and mine was happy to buy a ticket but the machine wouldn't read it!
