Box End

Up proper early to take Elbows to a station to catch the Stansted Express - he’s off to Cyprus again for work for a week.

Back to take the dogs on a lovely long dog walk, exploring paths not trodden by me before.

And then went off with the Cooper family to Box End, meeting another friend there to swim in a beautiful clear big lake with stunning scenery around us. It felt chilly and the wind made it a little choppy. Changing was on the river bank so done quickly and followed by necessary chips.

On arrival back at home, Welshman and Dot.T arrived at ours to cook supper for us and watch the third Lord of the Rings film. WM cooked amazing Katsu Curry. Truly delicious. Another late night though (following an early morning).
