Alstroemeria....

...or Peruvian lily, with it's autumnal golds and reds sits in a pot on our veranda, nice and bright as the garden beyond changes as winter creeps in.

An amazing day, so mild, 23C, calm and almost like late summer rather than autumn but we know it won't last, rain is forecasted along with perhaps another wintry blast, it's to be expected.
