In the pink
caught up with some jobs at home this morning.
This afternoon we set off to go the Nothe Fort but the traffic was really bad due to a road closure so we changed our mind mid drive and headed down to the Rodwell Trail instead. Lovely walk along the trail - which used to be the railway line over to Portland - to Smallmouth Bay. We then headed over to Chesil Bank to see the SeaThrift or Pinks as they are usually called down here. They are beautiful this year and stretch across a huge area. We were pleased to have changed our minds on destination!
