Ruby Finds a Puddle….

Well, it was a very small puddle. But yay! It was muddy and had leaves in it. A fine, sunny, albeit breezy autumn day. There is rain predicted late tonight and tomorrow. Ruby will be pleased. There will be bigger puddles and lots of them. Puppy paradise. We walked from the Meadowbank Station Bridge and followed the track upstream beside the upper Taylor River to the foot of the Taylor Dam and back. I haven’t walked that route for years. Maisie and I tended to walk from home to the river. A saving of petrol but routes that were more “civilized “ than the wilder ones a long way upstream. . I am really enjoying our visits to old familiar places.
