Spellbound Limestone Caves

I haven’t been to these caves before in fact hadn’t heard of them until recently even though they have been operating as a tourist destination for over 20 years.
Our caravan/motorhome group have now moved to a farm at Mapiu just south of Te Kuiti. We are spending a few days here looking at local sites but unfortunately the weather has deteriorated so we may not be able to do everything we have planned.
The main blip is our guide explaining the glow worm life cycle. The threads are used to catch flying insects which are their main food source.
