Tomorrow is VE Day.

The 80th Anniversary of the end of World War 2 in Europe is tomorrow.

We are celebrating at Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse and enjoying a Barbecue to which all of the volunteers from Falkland Palace, Kellie Castle and the Mansionhouse have been invited.

Today’s entry shows Winston S Churchill’s History of The Second World War which is in part of our library.

I was born 4 years after WW2 ended, however, it continued to have a significant influence on my childhood and on Society in general.
