Colleagues

Took the dogs to Princess street gardens this morning so J could go into work. Walked up to the EICC for our yearly rar rar meeting. Started off with a celebration of our old CEO who left the business last week, and we still don’t know why. Very good presentation from Boots opticians, who we have been installing our devices, and it seems its gone down well. Our founder has written a book about creating the company and his time in the artic, he also works with a charity called the Polar Academy, who do lots of work with kids who are very damaged and generally on suicide watch. The charity helps them by training them for an artic expedition, where they help universities out with their field work, very moving and fantastic work and presentation. Went out after for drinks with a few people from work that turned into a late, but well needed night out.
