And a partridge....

We made it to Northumberland....

Plans to get dad back home from hospital are well on the way. I'm sure there will be phone calls about all of that throughout the week.

We were greeted by our faithful pair of partridges that roam around the garden at the cottage here. The extra is the view we have from the conservatory - over to Holy Island (Lindisfarne).

Hopefully we can make the whole week and we don't have to leave early....

And thanks for all the congratulations for yesterday's blip birthday, and the show of support with the ongoing care issues with my dad.
