A long friendship

So lovely to see my old colleague. We met in 1970 when I started a new job teaching 16-18 year olds and she started her new job as PA to the Principal of the College. We have moved, changed jobs but always remained firm friends. She now lives in the South so we don’t meet very often but she stopped for lunch on her way to see relatives in Yorkshire today. A day of other celebrations as well.  The 80th anniversary of VE Day and I’m just watching to see who the new Pope will be.
