The High Street

Ramsbottom high street looking resplendent with its Union Jacks fluttering in the breeze on this 80th anniversary of VE Day.

Lots of flags and bunting locally, lovely to see :-)

Laundry first thing, then into town, treated myself to a coffee & afterwards a bit of grocery shopping.

Back home, pegged out, watered my plants inside & out, dead headed the faded daffs & tulips, up dated a few email addresses following yesterday’s event.

Headed into Manchester to collect C from the train station, called in to Bury to collect our Zlotys for our Poland trip in a few days time :-)

Now back at mine to settle down for the evening, not that it will be relaxing watching the second leg of our team in the semi final of the Europa League ……. even though we are 0-3 up from the first leg, there are no guarantees:-/
