Bourne Pool……….

……..at Wheat’s Garden Centre this afternoon. Managed by Severn Trent Water Company. The Pumping Station is adjacent to it behind the trees.
I drove there after lunch to buy some greetings cards.
This morning after breakfast we had our usual walk. Plus a coffee halfway round.
A really chilly and cloudy day, with the temperature not above 13C.
I am currently sitting wrapped up with my snuggle blanket,
I think any outdoor celebrations for V.E.Day this evening in our area will need extra layers of warm clothes!
Stephen came in having been to our local shops not long before teatime, to collect a prescription from Boots the Chemist, and put the fire on, saying it was cold!
Just about to have a mug of tea when I finish writing.
The big news today of course is the new Pope being elected and being an American.
I hope the Orange one doesn’t spoil the occasion!
