VE Day

Today marks the 80th Anniversary of VE Day in Europe so when driving to Louth to do a delivery and I spotted this display in a village on route I had to pull over and take a shot for my blip.
While driving back I received a text from Julie to ring her when I got a minute and was able to. So I found a layby to safely pull over and give her a call . I  knew what it was before I rang her as her Mum who has severe dementia and has done for years had been unwell. She sadly passed away this morning but dementia is so cruel and we had lost her many years ago as she had no idea who anyone was or what was going on. At least  she is at  rest now and the family pain can now be put to  the side ,  Still a sad day .
This evening after work I went to visit my Mum and Sister  and now back home watching a stream of Man U in the Europa league semi final having won the 1st leg 3-0 its theirs to throw away
