Caravan of Love

My car went in for quite an extensive service today, as there were no loan cars available I elected to sit in the dealership and work.

Luckily I had a call from a former client inviting me into town for breakfast. He runs the soon to be last music shop in town and always has good insight to the music instrument business and business in general. We shared updates and plans, and discussed the general uncertainty in business and politics. He's got some good intros for me so that helps our business.

I saw this caravan on my way to collect the car, not sure I would actually want to eat there but maybe after a few pints....

Lots of bell ringing here this evening to mark VE day, 80 years of peace in Europe which is the longest period since records began. There was a very powerful cartoon in the Daily Mirror, reprinted from VE day. The caption was 'here you are, don't lose it again'
