The Ribble.

W and I sat and had a picnic tea. I counted 18 swans a swimming. They were all youngsters, last year’s cygnets.
W and I were up at 7 for a walk. It was grey and a bit nippy. Then I zoomed through Pilates. Next I went shopping, a long list provisions for W to take to Loughborough.
After lunch I cycled about 20 miles, to Chipping, Whitechapel, Inglewhite and Goosnargh. I called in at J and J’s and watered some pots and gave the birds fresh water. This evenings walk was an unexpected treat, though a lot chillier than last week.
