Finally

42 months after we signed the contract we finally have a glass fibre connection (FTTH). After we had the first attempt declined by the engineer, since he didn't want to dig a hole. So we had to reconsider where we wanted the cable come into the house.
As you can see the engineer didn't have much room, but after I pointed him to the spot inside the house where he could drill (he'd do it from outside, which was obviously not possible here), he managed to install his equipment.
We now have a very fast internet, but since our telephone will be ported to the glass fibre company in a month, we will wait so long before we switch from the copper cable of German Telekom to glass fibre. No hurry.
