What strange satisfaction there is to be found in mastering a technique, even if it is only in crochet! (When all the toy manufacturers are not allowed to make playthings any more, my new skills will be wanted throughout the land).

Himself however, made himself most practically useful and made a garden bench. (Not from scratch but he did put it together). It has a sort of storage cupboard underneath the seat. ‘Waterproof’, it said.
A bold claim. (For t’North).
It came with a zippered plastic bag to fit inside the ottoman part.
‘Optimistic’ would be my estimation.

We’ll see. (I’m not even banking on the bag never mind the zip).
