The Ranch

We were nine hiking, biking, spending 5 days in close proximity.  K&B stayed with us while the rest of the fam stayed at the newly renovated Arrive hotel just four blocks from home.

In the main photo they are standing at the edge of the "salt creek" which dissects the property.  The white collections are salt having evaporated from the salty water.  Future enterprise?

It has been decided, now that the estate must be closed, that the ranch* will be put in the musician's name.  It is fitting since he/we moved to New Mexico to take care of Glen's father for the last four years of his life (he died at 93).  Glen's mother's ashes, father's ashes, and one of our Sils has been interred on the property.

* The Ranch equals one square mile of land so desolate we only pay $60/year in taxes.
