Where Flowers Bloom, so does Hope

Another outing with many more flowers! First we went to see Olle Bolle and have lunch at the Broder Cafe . Ole Bolle is the giant troll made of recycled material by Danish artist Thomas Dambo.
After lunch we headed out to Adelmen peony gardens which are just beginning to get lots of blooms . There is a stunning view of Mt Hood from the peony fields. The weather was beautiful and temps just right.
We have two more days before our friends will then head north with a stop to see a close friend who is now in memory care with Alzheimer’s . R and I were to drive them up and go along , but R’s having surgery Monday to remove a melanoma on his scalp. It’s quite involved with a skin graft and all. . Hereditary skin cancer issues they said most likely. So we needed to shift gears and prepare now for that. We are glad they moved up dates for his treatment however!!
