Morning glory

Packed up the cakes and flapjack for our away day today.  The cycle to the old campus is not pleasant. Too much traffic on badly potholed, busy roads. 
The day went well and the cakes were consumed to help our thinking processes. The section on change management and resilience was interesting but if you've been working for a while, you've almost certainly had to work out how to navigate change and uncertainty.  I've had 4 redundancy scares,  2 that actually happened and continual reorganisation during the last 20 years of working.  Still useful reminders though. 
Finished early so came home and did some catching up on emails.  
Planted some more of our seedlings in pots. Most of the morning glories germinated this year and we've put them in a tub with a wigwam structure on top.  Also planted out some more nasturtiums.  I'm aware that we may be creating lots of watering jobs for the boys when we are away in June.  
Enjoyed left over cake that had been bounced around by the potholes on the cycle home.  Probably too much sugar consumed today.
