A lots wonder

I have fond memories of this building visiting it from time to time but now the old marina towers observatory lies empty. Once home to the 20-inch Shafer-Maksutov telescope - the second largest of its kind in the world.
The building itself was designed by Robin Campbell in 1989 it will soon be home to a new cafe & hotel thanks to Swansea's own small up market bar noah's yard.
The building is sad empty and all but forgotten standing tall a once proud symbol of exploration, its a shame it didn't make enough money to stay as it was intended for. it's looking a little worse for ware with all the lower floor fenced up but still a stunning building and a great testament to designer Robin Campbell.
A simple black and white photo captures how imposing the two towers are, reaching up in to the sky and how the dreams of one small boy still draw me to a sad old building.
