The Top Shed and Jassi’s

Mauzee and I discovered  a wonderful cafe just outside of Denmark today.  A very enthusiastic volunteer at the Visitors Centre highly recommended that we go there.  It’s fusion of an incredible cafe and an amazing Ugg Boot business.  The Ugg Boots are all made on site and it’s a family run business.  Sisters Karen and Cindy, their brother Brendan and mum Val all work together.  The handsome fellow in the photograph behind the sisters is their dad Kevin who has sadly passed away.  Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a more delicious piece of Danish Apple cake in my life.  Karen is the baking guru and the cafe for her is the realisation of her dream.  I bravely let her know about my love of baking sour dough bread, it took courage because her loaves were spectacular!!  The whole dynamic of the combined family businesses was heartwarming and we can’t wait to return.
