Here it is

I went and collected the car today, so here it is. Disappointingly, the garage hadn't charged it fully but that gave Cal and I an opportunity to play with a charger for the first time. A bit of a faff because I don't read instructions, but we got it connected and, as this is next to a hotel, went inside for a glass of lime & soda. I also had to tax it at a post office because it was taxed as a disabled driver, it seems that we can't change that online.  

It's lovely to drive, but the alerts and so forth are bewildering - a beep for changing lanes without indicating - it fights back, approaching a school, or a rock slide area (no, no idea), surprisingly there is no beep for approaching an Indian takeaway. I think I'll be spending a fair amount of time reading web pages on how to interpret the screens and change the station on the wireless.
