Pondering.

Sat having my Friday night G&T pondering what to take for my blip. It’s a beautiful evening and I can’t really be bothered to go looking. So plastic flowers on patio table it is.

I bought this little set of vases in TKMaxx a couple of weeks ago, I did have fresh flowers in them, but if there is any wind, they blow over. So, I’ve filled them with grit, and plonked these plastic flowers in them.

Went to buy Louis’s birthday present today. My least favourite store (Smyth’s) total sensory overload! Anyway, it showed 9 in stock, but no one could find it. Looks like it’s waiting to be unpacked, and in the meantime it’s gone up £5! Crazy how things are going up in leaps and bounds.

I’ve got a funeral to go to a week on Monday. It’s a ‘woodland’ burial. What does one wear to a wood burial? John’s wife is one of those traditional people, so it’s a strange choice for her. Is it formal? Or is it wellies? She has said the dogs can come, (I won’t take them). But I have found a dress that I can wear with any footwear I choose, which was my main worry. In winter I wear boots, in summer trainers!
