Hunting Daisies

I had a busy day, with work, gym, grocery shopping plus delivery to my mother’s house (where I stayed for a few hours to help T), and finally some gardening at home. 

Chaiyya helped and cheered me up by playing in the daisies while I was weeding. 

It has made me sad to hear that Margot Friedländer died today. She was a Holocaust survivor, lived in New York for decades, and returned to Berlin at the age of 88, to teach German students about her life in Nazi Germany (and the deaths of her parents, her younger brother, and many others).
