It's been an eventful day! Thursdays are now the day the cleaner comes, so it was good to get that out of the way in the morning.

I was reminded of the time of the special memorial service in Westminster, which I took time out to watch. I then ventured out after work to the Creek. We've had a shammal the last couple of days, and I wanted to feel the breeze. Fortunately, the blowing dust has settled down. My blip is a different view of the Al Seef development.

The new Pope was announced not long after I got home. Amazing. On the second day of voting. That is a good sign! I have to say, I have never heard so many church terms on mainstream media. It is so strange, but also good to listen to words like God and Jesus Christ not being used as swear words. Today, the Holy Spirit was mentioned several times. 

There was very little mention of the unrest happening between two Commonwealth nations not far from here.
