SUN WORSHIPPER

I'm not quite sure what's happening here. The heron stood for some time like this - perhaps using the UV rays to clean its feathers? Meanwhile at the far end of the reservoir I could just make out two families of Canada geese with goslings in tow, keeping a respectful distance from each other (extra).
