Early walk, breakfast, packed and closed down cottage. We had a good drive home, slow in parts due to congestion but not bad for a Friday. Stopped off at Boroughbridge for lunch and sat outside in the sun. Home, unpacked and managed half hour read before cooking dinner, while Hetty and Hubby went for a walk. When we stopped to buy milk I spotted the flowers and thought they would look nice in my kitchen.
Off round to look after grandson for the evening. He has been very good, had a play and I read to him and then he happily got ready for bed, hubby currently reading to him in bed, but it’s all gone quiet so perhaps he is asleep.
Such a lovely evening we walked round.
