Hummingbird

A beauty he is too. I am loving all their antics at the feeders. I baked the croissant sourdough loaf. Later on we did a taste test. It's delicious! I decided to plant my new plants in the deck planter and I've made a wee frame so I can put plastic over them like a mini polytunnel to protect from any frosts. The dogs and I enjoyed a lovely walk in a field called soles although I think I will call it souls as it really felt good for the soul. There are a lot of immature eagles hanging around the area catching spawning fish. I saw about 15 lift off at once. I helped husband to get hay and water at the end of the day for a cow that had a calf coming backwards that he helped calve. All well which is good.
