Statue of Ceres
This bronze figure is Ceres, Roman goddess of cereal crops (among other things) and it is situated behind the old Spiller's Flour Mill in front of Cambridge Station. The mill was converted into apartments in recent years, but I think the statue is older. The area around Cambridge Station is dominated by upmarket blocks of flats now, which is vastly different from how it was in my childhood, when it was a bit of an industrial wasteland.
