My mom and step dad have this massive pond in their actual back yard! It's beautiful and a very peaceful place to have breakfast, read a book, anything (well, maybe not the most peaceful place to chase and 18 month old around, he tried to dive in headfirst the moment he saw the thing)! It has lovely wooden decking so that fits in with the photo challenge and I also caught a lovely grandmother/ grand-daughter moment.

Another busy day today! We had a Forbush family reunion with nearly everyone except Jason being able to make it. Even Jennifer has come up from Colorado. I do have to say we have made the longest journey! Fun day playing in the water at Eagle Island State Park. Though, Cleo was gutted she couldn't go on the massive waterslide. I don't think she would have gone by herself anyway but it is tough being a small!
