Cromarty Firth with an oil rig in the low evening light.
Early morning cycle; swim; cycle; shopping; cycle home. In the evening, after 19:30, headed out for the first proper cycle-for-the-hell-of-it/fun this year – along to Rosemarkie, then way over the hill and on to Udale Point for the above photo, Had passed a couple on the road, turned out it was a couple of kayakers I hadn't seen in years. Good to have a brief catch-up, though poor AD had been having recent heart issues, and just gained a Pacemaker. Long (quiet) cycle home from there – to Culbokie and then over by Mount Eagle. At that stage my legs felt shot and there were increasingly frequent twinges of cramp from my calves. Hurtling down that hill is so good... as long as nothing goes wrong. Belly was rumbling when I reached home. Burnt a good few calories today.
