Family matters

The backyard wildlife is giving their all to family. The osprey are still hauling sticks. Some geese have had their young while others are still sitting on the floating nest box hubby built. The swans are paired up with a yearling in tow. They are all getting along in this small area, pretty amazing.
I worked in the garden all day even in the rain. I have so much to do before we go back to the farm. We did take time to make dinner for my sister and BIL and mother for tomorrow night. She is recovering from a recent hospital stay. Hubby took the truck for it's routine check up and did some shopping. Sugar kept us awake all night worried about the thunder and heavy rain. It never really bothered her in the past but it sure does now. We are going to turn in early and hope she does as well.
