ORNITHOGALUM dubium: Orange Star (Back Blip)

This flower, at the grocery store, stopped me in my tracks.
My research says it's from South Africa, so it's a long way from home.
It was also called STAR OF BETHLEHEM.

Today is our first day of a HEAT WAVE, so Angus & I walked early
& have stayed home the rest of the day.  Tomorrow will be even
hotter (95F/ 35C), but will cool down next week, thankfully.
