Driving home ...

... not for Christmas, but driving home from a conference I decided to stop in at Avebury. I went there hoping to find that which had been lost the previous weekend. I wasn't successful in my quest on this occasion, but I'll try again soon. 

Fortunately the sun was shining and I was able to enjoy a bit of time in the quiet garden of the chapel, and I also discovered an impressive postbox topper and a beautiful church.
