Fingers crossed
Many many many moons ago ( around 1989 / 1990 ) I did work experience at a local estate agents ( Manners and Harrison in Billingham ).
I bought 2 Yucca plants when I finished, giving one to them and took one home.
Over the years I saw the one in their office grow, whilst mine did at.home.
At some point, still many moons ago, I chopped the top of and grew a new plant from that cutting.
I think that had survived quite a long time, until it has been severely abused and neglected.
Having noticed the new shoot in the soil a few months back I have taken the decision to chop the top off again.
That's now in a glass of water, and I'm hoping the cane will pop some shoots out the side to give it that classic Yucca house plant look.
Not been to Billingham Town centre in a long time, and I suspect Manners and Harrison are no longer in the same unit, so their plant probably has not survived.
