On guard

Making my way to community choir I looked over the bridge parapet and saw mum and dad geese guarding their offspring. Not the best photo, but they were strategically placed at the bottom of the steps onto the towpath - probably hoping for walkers carrying food. Sadly only 2 goslings there - don't know if there were more to start with, and I haven't seen any of the swans on there with any cygnets as yet. Hopefully in a short while.
