Davaar Island

This sleeping giant is Davaar Island. Davaar Island is located at the mouth of Campbeltown Loch. It is a tidal island, linked to the mainland at low tide by a natural shingle causeway called The Doirlinn. The crossing can be made in around 40 minutes.
It really dominates the loch. There are a number of sea caves that can be explored.
