Birthday Party at Stonor Park

This morning we went to Stoner Park for my grandsons  birthday Event. It was for most of his class and they had three hours at the adventure playground at Stonor Park near Henley on Thames. I had not been there before and was very impressed by both the actual playground and also the organisation of the ‘party’. There was a special tent which takes up to about 40 and they serve squash, pizzas and ice cream at a time you designate. ( maybe not the healthiest but they did all eat it!) The tent is already decorated so the parents only have to bring. birthday cake and party bags. 

I also went for a look round the gardens and the outside of the house…see extra..it is open sometimes but not today, still, loved in but the owners have diversified to make income for its upkeep.

Back home for a quiet afternoon opening lots of presents and then a quick walk through the village for a drink at the pub.
