A day with just myself to think about so after breakfast l wrote out my Mother of the Groom speech for the wedding in six days time. I think l will be the only parent there as Adele’s mum is not a well lady so it is doubtful she can attend but we can hope.
Then put the finished speech onto six revision cards, l will probably manage with just key words or a prompt, it doesn’t have to be perfect, just from the heart. 
Also walked around the house in my wedding shoes, l’m a bit out of practice at wearing heels but they felt fine.

Then this afternoon l went to do an afternoon shift at YorkGate but when l got there my slot as Meet and Greet had been double booked so l offered to work in the cafe.
It was a baptism of fire as the place was heaving but l really enjoyed it and the time flew by. So busy we didn’t have time for a break but l did have a flat white and brought some scones home.

Got home to see l needed to send of an item l had sold on Vinted so combined going out to post it with  getting a few items l had run out of.
Even though they were not on my list l bought some asparagus and strawberries both grown in Britain so l know they will taste good.
