Pictish stone

Parkrun was off (travellers raken over the park again with various animals) and I probably wouldn't have done it anyway as my legs were tired after yesterday. Mr Rat wanted a run and I decided a cycle would be good so we headed to the north of the hills where he could run o the old railway and up a smallish hill and I could do a cycle that wasn't too hilly.
A steepish hill near the beginning but then a lovely road with the Pictish stone and views north to the big hills before a steep down and a stop at a farmshop - strawberries and a giant bridie were bought.
Back along a fairly level road, 11 miles altogether which is more than in recent times.
Ate the bridie (semi-circular pasty thing filled with steak and gravy) for lunch between us and then out into the garden. The chest is now finished, more tidying has been done and we're now ready for the next stage of re-organisation.
There was time to sit and enjoy the late afternoon sun, a bit cooler than yesterday.
