Sunday walk; the Old Course.

The gorse on the Old Course, St Andrews, was in full bloom. Coconut aroma was noticeable. Grey skies but windless, mild out by the turn. We spoke to a couple from Canada who were beside themselves with excitement at being able to walk on the Old Course unfettered on a Sunday. It’s something we just accept.
