Saturday....

...began with an alarm clock at 08:30 although I couldn't get going until at least an hour or so later, a cuppa serving as the kick start to the day.

Just before noon a stroll was had to the local chemist to collect youngest's prescription followed by a longer one to Hyde to drop the slip for mine into the GP surgery. That stretch was punctuated by the park to say Hai to our three Giant Sequioas. Had the park been quieter I may have stopped a while but it's never quiet on a sunny Saturday.

For the stroll back an iced frappe thing was procured from Costa, Tiramisu flavoured and heavenly. That, the sunshine and a podcast in my ears helped me zone out some.

Back home after a cuppa in the sunshine, a couple of hours was spent rekindling some sort of love for the neglected for several weeks DIY project, insulating & lining one of the windows and beginning another before getting changed and hopping over to Ashton for an appointment. The blip was taken en route.

Am now relaxing with a cuppa enjoying an adventure documentary on the YouTube's.
