An ordinary life....

Lola...

Blip pal P who visited yesterday is a retired art teacher and amazing artist and she brought this wonderful portrait of Lola that she painted for us.  We love it!  I hope to have it framed and hung before P returns to join us on 14th for a week of adventures.  She has caught Lola's smile and mischievous personality perfectly :-)

Another sunny day.

We had lunch on the patio again. Ciabatta Club sandwich from The Auchterlarder.  Delicious.  Coffee afterwards indoors as it got a bit breezy and the temperature dropped when the sun disappeared behind a bank of whispy clouds.

I spent a chunk of the afternoon researching plants we want to buy for the pool area and crocheting some more of baby Alfie's pram blanket.  Nearly finished.

D was playing a late round of golf with Keith at Leven so I had some cheese and crackers for dinner.  I was still fairly full from lunch time.

Didn't get my planters emptied today.  That's a job for tomorrow morning then a visit to our local garden centre for some plants.  That will be tomorrow sorted.
