Biggar garden

This morning we set off on our journey to see our son Stuart and his family near Stratford on Avon and on the way we called in to see our friends D and L in Biggar and had lunch with them.

I don’t always find Biggar the warmest of places but today is a beautiful day and Biggar was hot ! A perfect day to sit in their new summer house recently erected and the purchase greatly encouraged by Mrs AMK now that they no longer have their croft in Mull that we visited so often over the last 20 odd years. 

We have now stopped off for the night just off the M6 near Preston a new habit we have started as with advancing years I don’t enjoy driving the nearly 400 miles in one go. We will set off again after breakfast and will be with the family before lunch time.
