Cliff walk

A perfect day for a walk. Once the washing was on the line, I bolted! Loyyie and I had a super walk over the old army camp fields and along the cliff path. Lots of sea pinks, squill, scurvy grass, birds foot trefoil, potentia, celandine and tiny violets.  The sun was lovely,  a bit too much for Lottie at times so she cooled off in the long grass.

Not many birds about, just a couple of shelduck and oystercatchers. At the end of our slip, there are half a dozen eider ducks, and the sound they make is lovely.

The rest of the day in the garden. Lots of watering required!
