More Birdy Activity
Although we were out and about most of the day I didn't take any photos except of Mr Flum eating ice cream. We were down at ReUse at The Pitt, on West Shore Road. ReUse is a charity-run shop of Stuff to trawl through, basically a particularly large charity shop; there are others in North Berwick, Peebles, Penicuik. This had the attraction of several street-food trailers, which proved very popular, we indulged in ice cream and later shared a cheese toastie while people-watching on the busy promenade.
Therefore I have resorted to an EBBB (Emergency bird box blip) of the male bringing food to the female, he then feeds chicks and departs, she feeds the chicks and settles down to brood them.
Today we note seven chicks and one egg. I'll spare you the evidence, just imagine one more gaping beak from yesterday.
